Information
Placed in Oragony, an (made-up) island off the coast of Canada. The winters are fierce, the summers drizzly and chilly. Most presences are that of a simple town near the center, named after the island it inhabits, Oragony. As for the animal population, moose, wolf, bear, hare, lynx, puma, and dogs are about all that stays within these areas, for domestic cats are not useful.
The many domestic dogs roaming their hometown are all trained for sled racing, the most common way to travel in Oragony.
Secluded, and small the small village on the vast island has a store, small hotel, houses, a pub, and a large laboratory, which has limited access.
Along with that, numerous things seem to be going wrong on this small island. Gases from Hagina Technology Labs (A laboratory researching animals) seems to be having a lasting effect on the animals living on the island. Wolves are becoming rare, so they ship in tagged wolves, but still these animals are disappearing, and the oddities among these animals seems to be increasing. Wolves said to have 'inhumanely dyed fur' roam during the day and night.
The sled dogs, and humans seem to be the only ones unaffected by these toxic gases.
Named after the islands most famous feature, not many people come here for Oragony isn't the most exciting place to live. It's a simple two story log cabin. With only five rooms, some of Oragony's residents choose to live here to save money.
In the heart of the town, a very old refurbished store now takes on a new owner, and new name Collom's General Store, named after the owner, Mr. Collom.
This kennel is like a living hell for dogs put here. A spacious backyard, ruled by the meanest dogs is the only place to run, and then, after only two hours of play, dogs are put into their kennels for the rest of their day. Dogs here are to be adopted out to mushers. (All dogs unless born by the musher for more sled dogs, must start off here.)
Hagina Tech is a modern laboratory, set on the study, and research of animals. Located in a small man-made forest at the south end of the town, it is the only building holding futuristic architecture.
Currently, this eight acre lot of land can be built on by mushers. But right now, on the outskirts of town, wolves can move onto the land, and live here until they are either killed, or pushed out by the soon-to-be owner. NOTE: Wolves CAN be killed on a musher's land.
A large open lot shielded by Fern Forest contains numerous dull green dumpsters filled over the edges with garbage from all over this small little island. Wolves and other additinal animals of Oragony come here often to gorge on the open buffet.
A small forest lines the roads, filled with numerous kinds of ferns, thus gaining the name, Fern Forest. Hunting is legal in these woods so watch out. {Loners territory}
Creekside Kennel, is named Napitsu Creek. It runs North, then turns West, untill finally turning South, passing through Drackithu Forest, and emptying into Fidewich Lake.
At the bottom of Napitsu Creek, Drackithu Forest is known for it's abundant animals, wolves, bears, and prey often hide within this Forest's murky depths. Within this forest, which is the largest of the total four on Oragony, there are valleys, smaller streams, caves, and a small sandy beach when it reaches the ocean.
The largest of the two main lakes on Oragony, Fidewich lake is a hot spot for fishing, both bear and humans like to fish here. Even though it is legal to hunt in these areas, people rarely kill animals by Fidewich Lake because of the close signs stating hunting is off limits in these areas. Most of the lake is a small walk in shale filled area, but the North shore of Fidewich lake is a mucky sand, which is where some people enjoy swimming.
The Nakan Creek is fed by the large Fidewich Lake. It is located in the Kanu Forest, which is off limits for all hunters. Many animals find refuge in it's soft calming waves of crystalline waters. Some smaller streams trickling from this river move down hill and through Batikan Beach into the ocean.
This little sandy beach is the happy oasis to some wolves. Most wolves like to wallow in the water, while others enjoy bringing their pups to this beach and letting them romp around.
This is the second largest lake on Oragony. (of course there are unmapped ponds everywhere). It's fed by the Nakan Creek, and has a small sandy beach where swimming is not permitted.
Kanu Forest is a wide open area with things from dense forestry, to open meadows, burnt fields, sled trails, and Nakan river snaking through it. There are small coves on the South most point into the ocean secluded and sandy.
Kelvier Beach is a the largest known beach on Oragony. It's massive sandy surface surrounds Fliqk Bay.
{Phix Era + Sphinx Reo territory}
Most Phix Era members stay off of it, and if they do come on it's a very small portion for most of the beach is Sphinx Reo's. Most confrontations happen here.
This is a large open, plains like area. With gentle rolling hills, and small weed covered streams. Most hunting in Sphinx Reo or sacrifices are held here.
A large, snow capped Mt. looms over Oragony. It has numerous rocky dens so it's where the entire pack lives. (They sleep in one large den to conserve heat).
